I am a 24 y/o wife and mother of 3. I really feel the need to change my look a bit and want to feel sexy again. I'd love to surprise my husband by getting a mini make-over. I've lost some weight, I have an appointment at the salon tomorrow and I have a sexy (but appropriate) new outfit. I thought about getting a nose ring too. What do you think? Sexy or Trashy?

Kleo: Excuse you! If you read the question, I am MARRIED and have 3 kids. I've been happily married for almost 6 years and all my children were conceived within those 6 years. No pre-marital sex involved. The question was about a piercing, not about children. If being 24, happily married to a military man and having 3 beautiful children is trashy, then sure.... I'm trashy. *rolls eyes* How rude!

ummm, it will look lame it if is not your style...but if it is, I think a very very small diamond in the nose can look very pretty if your makeup is pretty. I also think it does depend on what you wear with it and the type of hair style you have.

Nose rings look good with certain noses. It also depends on the size of the ring. Small one on the side is fine; bull rings...not so hot. Regardless what others have said, a nose ring is not "trashy" nor "sexy." It's a statement about your own personality. Granted, while most people won't take you as seriously if you have one, they may be considered "cute" if it really is a nice adornment. It matters not how many, if any, kids a person has, piercings are all about the individual. The only other thing you may want to think about, you're married, have kids, why would you worry about impressing anyone else but your own family? Have fun with whatever choice you make.

IT DEPENDS!!!
If a woman is NOT Sexy, then no Nose Piercing is going to make her Sexy. It may make her look Trashy or Trashier.
If a woman is Sexy, then a Nose Piercing may negate that Sexiness and/or make her Trashy.
Worst case scenario: A Nose Piercing may get infected big time. No need to worry about Sexy or Trashy at that point. Start to worry about saving her nose from rotting away.

In my opinion, I don't think nose rings are sexy. But sexy has a different meaning to everyone. I think it depends on the individual. I do think that if you truly want to be sexy only for your husband, you may want to consider a naval piercing. To me the most sexy tattoo's or piercings are discrete and viewed only by those whom you are intimate with. Also, being a mother does change certain things. Your children may be labeled as the kids whose mother has a nose ring. I really don't think you want that. This is a sad fact of reality.
Just my opinion, keep the sexy simple and discrete.

I wouldn't go so far as to say trashy, but, I really don't think they are sexy either. I, personally, would never get one. Not only does it just not look good, but, when you decide to finally take it out, you will have either a hole, or, a scar on your nose. Plus, think of how weird/aggrivating it will be/feel when you have a cold & are all stuffed up. I think that you should probably stick with going to the salon & maybe changing your hair color , cut, and style. At least those are things that, if you regret it later, you can easily change/go back w/o haveing any scars or holes left over. Also, I'm not putting down/making fun of those parents out there that have them, but, think of how you'll look when you show up to PTA meetings with a nose piercing.
If you want to get something pierced, I'd suggest maybe your navel/belly button. Those are sexy no matter what, plus, you'll have the added bonus of knowing that you have this sexy piercing that only your husband can see (well, until the summer when you go to the beach).

It depends. If its like a really tiny barely there little diamond it looks cute. But a hoop or big thing on your nose looks very trashy!

I love nose rings. (If they are asmall stud or tiny hoop) I think if kept in moderation they look good. ( my boyfriend, however, HATES them. I was talking about getting my nose repierced (had to take it out for a previous job) and he was apalled. He would rather me get more tattoos than repierce my nose.
Ultimately,it is your nose, do whatever you want. (by the way my hole closed up without leaving a scar) So do it. I fyou decide you don't likeit takeitout and let it close.

i say go for it...i put my belly ring back in after i had my baby..i love seeing moms be there own person...just because your a mom doesn't mean you can't do cool things..i think it would look good...do it..thanks for making moms seem cool again and not making me look like the only weird mom for doing stuff like that. and don't listen to kleo she's just a hater that is jealous.

yes! nose piercings are very sexy, on the right person. i really want one myself, i love them.
i say, go for it! if you don't like it much you can always take it out. i saw someone with just a tiny simple silver (not shiny) ball for a nose ring and it looked so good! i do love how an actual ring looks too.
