As many of you are aware, Al Gore has recently received the Nobel Peace Prize for helping the world realize the potential destructiveness of global warming. Do you think he's doing this because he wants to gain a reputation, or does he actually care about the issue?

It´s a question about a political man: is he sincere or is he only interested in votes?

Frankly I don´t know a damn.

But I am grateful he put the global warming issue at the top of actuality, and also that the Nobel Prize organization chose this issue as a "peace issue".

I think if he just wanted to gain reputation than his movie would have been less boring and had more flare.
He showed passion in making the movie himself not hiring help to make it more appealing.

I'm aware of global warming, but that movie was still boring and dragged on (maybe it's because it's not new information to me)

The only thing Gore is capable of is picking his nose and running his mouth at the same time! He was nothing but a
dummy in office, working his mouth doesn't make him any
brighter.

He is more interested in his own legacy than anything or he would do something about his real carbon footprint and speak out on others who live the high style he does.

I think he actually cares about the issue. personally, though, he seems very boring, so I don't pay a whole lot of attention to him. It annoys me that environmentalists want us to give up air conditioning and cars, but they purchase offsets, so they can go on using them. Sounds like the old "Do as I say, not as I do".

I have no opinion of him. People who don't make an impression on me usually get that kind of a reaction from me.
