After all, all he did was make a movie and write a book and make a bunch of speeches.. Lots of people do that.

Oh boy - I think it's total BS.

But, aren't we all scared now? Global warming is something new that we have caused, it hasn't been happening since the Ice Age began or anything...yay! Thanks for enlightening me Gore! Oh and high five to the UN - woot woot.

Al Gore is adored by the left wing, socialists and ignorant people who will believe anything if it's in print or on the big screen . . .

His education did not include the sciences and his 'scary' movie is a political propaganda piece, not science . . . He totally ignores the geological history of this planet and the natural forces that determine weather and climate . . .

Changes in the inclination of the earth's axis, the orbit around the sun, the sun spot cycle and volcanic activity are huge factors in the earth's climate . . . Those are in constant flux but, the changes occur over very long time periods that are beyond our human lifespans . . . For many millions of years and indeed, most of the earth's existence, there were no polar icecaps or glaciers and all of man's activities, for one year, don't equal the output of greenhouse gases produced by a single volcanic eruption . . . There are approximately 50 major volcanic eruptions per year on the earth . . .

Al Gore expends more fuel, flying in his private jet to a speaking engagement, than any of us uses in a couple of years, but berates us for being so wasteful of "carbon" resources . . . He is an hypocrite, a fool and a liar . . .

Al Gore and his advisor's know that most people are not well versed in the sciences and that his fear-mongering propaganda will be accepted as truth by the uninitiated . . .

Like the notorious propaganda minister of NAZI Germany, Goebels, Gore understands that if you tell a lie for long enough and loud enough, people will believe it . . .

The Nobel Peace Prize has been granted to a few fools and liars, in its history . . . Notably, the murderous terrorist, Yasser Arafat and the weakest failure in presidential history, Jimmy Carter, have received it . . . So that prize is tainted by their presence in the roll of recipients and it's validity as a standard of excellence is questionable . . . .

if yasser arafat the terrorist can win the nobel peace prize, anyone can.
if a retard from africa who likes to plant trees can win the nobel peace prize, anyone can.
If Jimmy Carter, the peanut farmer and failure can win a nobel peace prize, anyone can.
If the founder of the nobel prize, the inventor of dynamite..just jokin.
If al gore, the ozone-head dufus who can't even win his own state in elections can win the nobel prize, anyone can.
If a creep from bangladesh who is a loan shark to poor people can win the nobel prize, anyone can.
The nobel prize has been debased, shamed, and disgraced. I don't really care who wins it anymore, because it's become a footbal for the liberal pus sies.

I lost all respect for the Nobel Peace Prize when Carter, the least useful president in history, won it.

It's not so much about what the person did, as the effect of that person's actions. Al Gore's actions raised the issue of global warming on an worldwide level, which is why he won the award, not for the methods he used to acheive it.
