This world was made to be a vacation spot for our spirits. To see the beauty, and watch the animals play. But we have the ability to bond with things on a spiritual level and experience what it is like to be that thing. And the first higher spirits stayed around too long and got trapped by the forces that make this material world. Then the human form was introduced so we have a body that can deal with the hardships of this world, as well as the intelligence to find our way back.

It sounds like a story connected to some theologic explanation for life. Where did you hear this? What books?

Have you noticed how babies are so fascinated with everything? From bodily functions to the 5 senses. They find bodily functions funny and all the sensory input amazing. But like anything else after awhile we as humans take these things for granted and grow bored. Blessed is the adult that sees the world as a child. People who love to play and go on adventures luckily still retain much of this. It keeps them Young.
