why doesnt he like them?
why do you want to control him? (dont say you dont, you've just said that you do)
Yes it is ok for him to have any response like that - if he doesnt like them - you just dont like that he doesnt like them - why isnt he allowed not to - he still listening isnt he?
grow up. stop trying to control. accept him as he is.

That is rude but there are some people that when I hear their name mentioned I can't control my urge to roll my eyes either. Find a friend your husband likes.

If he thinks it is a normal reaction when you talk about this person and you do not like him to do that than simply do not talk about that person to him. He is giving you an obvious sign that he is uninterested anyways, why force him to listen?

Threaten to staple then shut the next time he falls asleep if he keeps it up. It is a rude thing to do and he should respect the fact that it bothers you and at least make an attempt not to do it.

When you bring up the name of a person who he does not respect, especially if it involves their opinion of him, you should expect that response.
There is nothing quite like trying to support someone elses opinion when he does not agree.
