It goes like this.

The earth is on a very dangerous course due to losing mass. Year after year manking launches huge heavy doohickeys into space and thus decreases the mass of the earth. This has a direct consequence on reducing the force of gravity and thus will mean that someday the moon will drift away into the...uh..sunset.

Another consequence is the rotation of our planet will slow down through time and lengthen the day, thus forcing Hugo Chavez to decree himself President of Time Itself.

Won't you buy some Heavy Credits, for the children?

Readers of this post might be interested to learn that the earths' magnetic poles actually reverse every 100,000 years or so. ( no joke) But before they completely reverse they tend to wander further toward the equator. Knowing that the magnetic field surrounding earth is a major protection source of the Sun's solar rays (affected by the shape and intensity of the magnetic force) then it stands to reason that variation will occur naturally over time, leading to ice ages and times of higher heat, condensed water, and Co2 gasses in the environment. All with or without turning over the engine on your SUV.
