uh, you are starting to get the "feel of things" you are starting puberty- go to your library and get a book on puberty. you are normal to not have a bunch right now.... your normal. but it would be best if you go and get a book so you can kinda get a "road map of what's gonna happen in the future" and be prepared, so you won't worry if "this is normal" or not. tallking to your mom or dad is also good thing to do- they most likey are dying to talk to you about this stuff, and are uncomfortable about it- or are waiting for you to ank them questions. so try "scaring them" with a question. that might be fun to see what they say.
and when you post stuff on this web site, don't get mad when you get stupid/ false info from stupid people like Tom G...he's probably a 16 yrold with NO hair down there and a small weeny! hahahaha.... really, the most true info should be from your parents, they can tell you how they feel about stuff and explain things in more detail, just ask the questions, they will answer.

You're just an early bloomer. The technical word is precocious, I think. Not so unusual any more. The typical age is 12-13, but some boys begin puberty as young as 10. It usually runs in the family, so your dad probably also started to develop at your age. Not typical, but normal.

There's many factors that can affect it, genetics for one. Your family probably had hair when they were your age also. It's normal, people develop at different times. No worries :]
