Not going to happen He has transcended the role of politician. As in Maslow's hierarchy of needs, he has become more self actualized. He does not "need" to be president, that would be a step backward for him. He is for the world, now. Not the US.

Peace!

Al Gore isn't gonna run in the 2008 elections. If he does it would only mess things up for the Democrats... It would split the (Bill) Clinton votes between Hiliary and Al. Since the Dems are known for infighting they want to leave things the way they are so they can win. From what I hear, he is gonna run for President, just not right now.

Regrettably, I dont think there is anything we can do to get Al Gore to run.

It is our loss but I truly believe that he is happier now being out of politics and working for issues that are greater than himself.

He is a man of incredible stature. Right now he has transcended politics and his own hubris and gained incredible respect around the world. Becoming a political candidate would only diminish that.

I can feel a bit sad for the country for what could of been and for what we have had to endure for the past 7 years. How much better off we would be if we had one more Supreme Court Judge appointed by Clinton instead of Bush and Reagan.

Not that I support him - but I'd LOVE to see him enter the race - he'd finally have no way of evading a debate ..and would then be forced to answer questions on his global scam ..which some think is legit ..even given the fact that the 5 Nobel voters are from the aristocratic socialist left in Sweden . If his "made for Hollywood" global warming movie had been legit - he'd have won a Nobel Prize for physics or literature . Instead - he receives the token "peace" prize - which in no way reflects "peace" .

I think running 2 times and losing both was enough for him.

He has successfully metaphorized himself out of heavy politics to a better worthy cause.
It would contradict everything he has worked if he stepped into a role that has to handle a war for human resources and terrorism.
