I am not getting why these six thugs are being treated like the victims when they are the ones who beat up that white guy. Talk about blaming the victim. NO - I'm not a racist, I'm not even all white myself, but what's fair is fair, and why shouldn't those hoodlums go to jail?????????? so weird....

You said it well. Six guys beating one guy is a crime. They should be held accountable, especially when one is a repeat violent offender. The noose incident had nothing to do with the beating incident. That was just thrown in there to stir controversy. Al Sharpton is a monster who's is inciting racism. Good luck. 2D

do you think its fair to get a possible 100 yr sentence for a fight? its a matter of getting a fair trial plain and simple..a kid was beat up yes thats wrong noone has denied that..what angered everyone the most was it was a 16 yr old who was being tried as an adult for a crime that would never ever in any state be tried as an adult and the higher courts agreed..when the tables were turned and it was the whites doing it to the blacks really nothing happened..all the whites walked away with a slap on the wrist..you should really get your facts straight..even the victims family spoke out against it..maybe more so to save face seeing as they aligned themselves with the white supremacist..learn the whole backstory..it wasnt just a noose was hung and a white kid got beat up

this wasnt a fight because this victim was knocked outwith sucker punch then attacked.how many unconscius people have you ever seen fighting?
also this was mychal bell's 5th arrest for assault so he is a violent person and deserves to be treated as an adult.he has been given chance after chance and he keeps getting in more and more trouble.
being called a name or seeing a noose in a tree doesnt give anyone the green light to attack another.....grow up!!

It is because of the fact that African Americans have gone through alot in America for many years, and it is a sensitive feeling of having to go through more. Hanging nooses on a tree brings back memories of segregation from past times. That is why it is being so broadcasted by the African American community.
