As has been said before, the school districts in the US, and all the private schools, set their own holiday schedules. While my kids have a March spring break for a week. They had a February Winter break and April Spring break at their last district. While the current district observes all Federal Hols, the last ignored all Federal Hols to give the Feb winter break. Also some schools give a whole week at Thanksgiving in November and others have only 2 days. Some go to school 12 months a year with 4 term breaks and others have a 21/2 month to 3 month summer break. However Mid March to Mid April seems to be the traditional spring break period for most schools.

This is a diffucult question to answer since there are different school holidays around the country.

The closest school districts to Walt Disney World have their February Holiday and Spring Break at different times. Orange County Public Schools have a holiday February 18 and their spring break is March 31 through April 4.

Osceola County Public Schools have February 15 off, then March 21, then Spring Break from March 31 through April 7.

Where I'm from originally (New York) there are, generally, school holidays around Presidents' week (February 18 through 22.) and around Easter (either the week before or after).

The first person is correct.. vacations vary from school to school. Don't forget about the millions of college students who come to Florida too. They start their spring break pretty early. February will be safe, but it is pretty cool here at night then. You'll definitely need a jacket. Sometimes we do get frost here, but it'll warm up to the 50s or 60s during the day. The traffic will be heavier and the lines a lot longer, so just have some patience and you'll be okay.

nicely finished as regularly happening Mr Hamster. Its regrettably truer than humorous. its very reflective on the way society, the more desirable it tries to help- actual screws us, and itself contained in the approach.
