I'm thankful for being alive!I almost droned when I was little but I was rescue before I could swallow too much water!

Am thankful for the things others often take for granted.
One of my friends visited or stayed a large amount of time at the local nursing home, in the company of her husband who didn't know her for the past 10 years. (Alzheimer's)
He passed on 2 weeks ago. She's lost without him.
They shared 45 years together in sickness and in health. Makes me appreciate my spouse all the more.

I am thankful for having a loving family and good friends. I am very blessed and all my needs are met every day. Praise the Lord.

At the moment... my yummy coffee in front of me, my health, my slow day at the office so I can read this question, my husband whom I adore, my bank account since it has a balance, two beautiful girls in my care that call ME mommy and let me kiss their boo-boos, the rest of my family and friends... and God for giving all this to me to be thankful for.
