I think I hated Glen Campbell for a while for stealing his wife, and that I was glad she left Glen later. Served him right!
I love Somethin's Burnin', Memory, Watching Scotty Grow, Stop and Smell the Roses, It's Hard to Be Humble. I love that one, LOL!

The first thing I think of when I hear the name Mac Davis ......is
Outstanding Songwriter.
He isn't a bad singer either.
3 of his songs that come to mind are ....... Stop and Smell the Roses, Baby Don't Get Hooked On Me, and Hard to be Humble.

Glen Campbell because I remember the hhopla about his stealing Mac;s wife. Well, that is the term they use in the media (steal as if she went unwillingly) but...That is the first thing that enters my mind because I felt bad for him. THe second thing that comes to mind is watching him on television because my favorite part of his show was when he had the audience members give him a few words and he would make up songs on the spot. I had a crush on him in high school and his was the very first show I ever went to see in Tahoe years ago.
