So I'm getting out of work around midnight and I'm starting it then which is going to last for 24 hours. I added up the minutes and it should be just about right maybe an hour over or so but here it is.

Halloween
Nightmare on Elm Street
The Exorcist
Dawn of the dead (Original Extended cut)
Devil's Rejects
The Descent
28 Days Later
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Original)
Saw
Hostel
Jacob's Ladder
Last House on the Left
Night of the Living Dead (Original Black and White Version)
Wolf Creek

There's my list, any suggestions? Any comments? Thanks, happy halloween :)

It's not a jump out of the shadows, cheap-scare movie, but the original 1963 B&W version of "The Haunting" is good for late at night when everything in the house is quiet and the lights are turned down low.

I'd probably change The Devil's Rejects out with House of 1000 Corpses - it takes place on Halloween night - Devil's Rejects is the next day and really it isn't as "horror" oriented as it is more of a Harold and Maude road movie taken to the extreme.

Don't get me wrong, it's GREAT but it doesn't go as well with the horror theme as it does as an action/adventure horror movie, kinda like Natural Born Killers. It's just my preference if I was choosing.

One other change is I probably wouldn't include Jacob's Ladder, too religious and not really horror. I'd put in Phantasm - great fantasy / horror flick that has a few good jumps in it. A little out of this world but the Tall Man is a great character and very ominous! It has great visuals and is definitely haunting, watch this one in the dark hours and crank up the soundtrack, your almost guaranteed to jump in this one.

The other choices would work for me but it's all personal preference. I know some people who hate Phantasm and House of a 1000 Corpses but those would seem more "fitting" for a Halloween Horror Fest. Just my 2 cents. :)

They are all great movies But don't you have anywhere fun to go? I was invited to 3 Halloween parties...I got no time for a movie marathon...I will watch movie or 2 but hit the bars or something.
Or at least have some friends over to watch these movies with you...

Other that Wolf creek and the Descent all those movies are great....But where is Jason?

definately watch HALLOWEEN the movie because it's mad scary but mostly awesome because of the realistic graphic violence and the scary music.
I watched the first, second, third, forth, and the fifth movies and so far they're all the best.
