Haneef, Am sorry. Been busy for few days. Eid Mubarak to you.

For me, the best all rounder from the given list should be Flintoff. As always, I will justify my point :)

A good all rounder is one who is capable of turning around matches single handedly with his bat/ball. Freddie is one such player. A good all rounder need not be a great batsman or a great bowler. A decent bowler and a decent batsman makes a good allrounder.

Gayle is also a good allrounder, coz, he is a decent batsman and a decent bowler. But not as of the class of Freddie yet.

Afridi is a good bowler, but not a decent batsman. He is a great talent, but I dont think talent alone makes a good batsman. Application of mind is also important. If he had applied himself, Pak would have won T20 WC.

W G Grace, am sorry! I dont know a lot about it. Cant judge him.

Sachin/Saurav are good batsmen, but average bowlers. Not so consistent enough in bowling. Same with Yuvi.

Thus, Freddie is my choice.

Thanks! Hope I helped :)

flintof is the best all rounder cause he can ball very well and bat too he has the potential to be winner of match and he snatches away the whole match from the hands of other team
he has also awarded best player of the year
and he can make the match alive
he has every thing in him to be a called allrounder
and the names u have mentioned above are not allrounder they are batsman and part time baller but flintof is the regular baller so he can call allrounder

Why do you have Yuvraj,Sachin and Sourav there? They aren't even all rounders. And as for the best ever look no further than Ian Botham or Gary Sobers.

the root of allrounder is all-round --does it mean zero
indian team may have only 11 .

why consider only batsman and bowler as all rounder
why not batsman and wicketkeeper
on my logic it is adam gilchrist
