How do you get Euthanasia? Is it something you contract from IV drug use? I continue to drink and drug because in my opinion it makes me witty and smart. I also have insomnia so I figure why even bother trying to sleep.

Good reasons to stop, are. The person's health. And well being. Better relationships with people. And family members.
Good reasons to continue there are none.
Because people with drinking or drug use problems. Have problems in other areas of their lives do to it.

They eventually run your life, then ruin your life.
The work you'd have to do to straighten everything out afterwords is too hard. Better to not get into problems to begin with.
Permanent brain damage...happened to my mother from drinking. Grand Mal seizures every time she didn't get her daily quota of Canadian Whiskey.
Basic detachment from all human experience. One day you wake up and realize you haven't really experienced anything. If you have, then you just can't remember it.
You lose all your family and friends.
You do embarrassing things in front of your soon-to-be former friends/family.
Sorry, but I have no good reasons for continuing those vices.

There are NO good reasons to continue.
Reasons to quit: damage to your body, mental health, your family and friends...and that's just the beginning. Druggies and alcoholics destroy everything and everyone around them eventually.

A good reason to quit would be because you're broke.
And a reason to continue would be because you're broke.
