Hi,

I've been in a trip to US in November till January last year and I can ensure you that the best place to be in the period you've mentioned (late November) is Las Vegas. The colors, the view, the casinos - Wow! If you want the best entertainment this is the place for you. I'm positive that even if you don't like to gamble you'll find a lot of other stuff to do there. I'll be in Las Vegas in the beginning of February so I can show you around. I know good places :-). If you want to know more about Las vegas and what there is to do in this wonderful place enter http://www.777.com/land-based-casinos/las-vegas Youll find there an interesting review and even some nice video clips.

Here is another interesting article about Las Vegas: http://www.777.com/articles/las-vegas-after-september-11th

One more useful article about planning a trip to Vegas: http://www.wikihow.com/Plan-A-Trip-to-Las-Vegas

If you want more information about this place please feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to assist.

Have a wonderful vacation my friend,
David

If you're into history and the sciences, Washington D.C would be a nice place to go. I don't know what the climate is around November, because I went in April, but it has beautiful architecture and scenery. Also, if you have the time, travel down to Colonial Williamsburg. It's quite interesting.

Then again, if you're looking more for a relaxing vacation, I agree with everyone else and go to the southern states, especially Florida. I've been there during the spring and summer and it's very, very nice. At night if there's breeze you'll need a light jacket but other than that it's wonderful.

DO NOT go to Yellowstone or anywhere around those parts this time of year, especially if you would've planned on camping(I'm actually not sure what Colorado is like, but I'm sure it's getting very chilly). It is more than likely it will have snow, and Wyoming nights are VERY cold all year round. Yes, the scenery is beautiful but if you want to keep warm, don't go there.

you go somewhere like Ganges river there is even swimming by then. If you go between just above Dhaka, there is Rajbari, wine tasting and praying homage to Allah, and you still aren't far from everything in the city. And you can day trip to the district of Gazipur which is especially beautiful during the holidays. A very good resource is www.tripadvisor.com. Look on the various message boards for lodging and things to do wherever you go. Usually, locals from the various places will have posted valuable info and you can get reviews of hotels, restaurants etc from people who have been there. There are horseback riding trails in the mountains. Hikes through historic areas. And in Pigeon Forge there are more venues of entertainment than I can count!! Shows for adults and kids and everyone in between. This is a very 'christian' town so most of the shows have a gospel set or two- if this isn't for you, don't go to the shows.

The climate is still moderatally warm, and if you go through certain places like Cloudcroft, Ruidoso, all the leaves on all the aspens are changing color. It is beautiful. There are also places in North New Mexico that have very beautiful cenery. New Mexico has lots of historical tourism, such as Billy the kid, Horse Musems, etc, as well as the White Sands National Monument. Plus the sun would feel so good on the skin. For the last 5-6 years we have tried to see the manatees near a harbor by my parents house. We have yet to see them. We found out last year that it is better to come back between Oct-Jan. When the waters where cooler. We still haven't made it down to Flordia at those times. If you decide to go . . . could you stop by and pick us up?

The weather is mild, the tourist traffic is lower, there are lots of exciting things to do even off of the beaten path and everything is decorated for the holidays. The town is located in Southern California in the San Bernardino Mountains. A very sweet and simple town dedicated to production and education of apple growers. There are many apple orchards to choose from where you can personally pick your own apples, raspberries, flowers, etc. There are also many family owned resturants and country shops all pertaining to apple decor and apple treats. An adventure that any one of any age can enjoy. I took my three small children to Oak Glen several weeks ago and they haven't stopped talking about how they were able to pick their own apples. Be sure to stop by the weblink below for more information. If you get a chance, Oak Glen is a must have on your Southern California Travels.

I'm in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, and I can say, there is tons to do here all year 'round!

Virginia Beach is a hot spot during the summer, and so is Williamsburg, but they're also hot spots during the off peak tourist season as well!

Sure, the beach may be a little too cold for some during the winter (and I'm not recommending hanging out at the beach during November), but our weather is so diverse that time of year, you never know if it's going to be in the 50's or the 80's.

If you are into museums, zoo's, and aquariums, Hampton Roads is the place to go! Between the Beach and Williamsburg, you have your choice of aquariums, a zoo, and tons of museums, and living history areas to visit! Plus colonial Williamsburg is beautiful!

New York City. The Christmas decorations will be up by 11/23. You will never run out of things to do. At MMA and some other great museums, you can pay whatever you want. Freebies include the Federal Reserve Bank tour (need reservations at least a week in advance), Central Park, and the Staten Island Ferry. Do NOT rent a car. If you are on a budget stay at Central Park West.

Gatlinburg TN - some leaves should still be on the trees during the last week in Nov. Gatlinburg is like Las Vegas with no gambling except it's in a National Park with lots of scenery everywhere. Allow at least 3 days.

Tucson AZ -- check out Mt. Lemmon - the southernmost ski area in the country (assuming there is snow by then) --and the AZ Desert Museum. One day is all you need for Tucson if you're on the road by 8 AM.

California - just about anywhere. At least half your time should be spent in that one state alone. Musts include San Diego, LA area, PCH, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite.

Portland OR

Seattle WA. Ride some ferries.
