My husband and I are attempting to conceive (have been for 6 months now). We had intercourse on 9-23, 10-7 and 10-09. The morning of 10-10 the left side of my uterus felt like it was 'stretching'... it was very odd feeling. I've felt it almost every hour since then? I've never felt this before.

My period started 9-30 and ended 10-4 and I've been diagnosed with endometrosis and polycystic ovaries in the last 3 years- if that info helps any.

It's too early to tell if I'm pregnant, but I really do not think I am. I had my period after our last Sept intercourse and also I don't think I'd feel uterus stretching the day or 3 days after, although I could be wrong.

Please advise- what's causing this feeling?

*I want to know if this is something I need to see my gyno about. I wouldn't be able to get in for a minimum of 3 weeks right now (busy office).

Oh, and I don't seem to be gassy, so I don't think that's it.

Not sure about al lthe natural advice given. i have however suffered from ovarian cycsts since i was 15 I am 43 now.
I always get the same feeling you describe when my left ovary is the one that has ovulated.
I can count the days within 2 days as to when I will have my period.

The doctor explained it to me as it was simply my ovary patching up after releasing the egg.

I don't what it is that you're feeling but you don't have stretching feelings that early in pregnancy. And pains that come from the side usually have something to do with your ovaries (probably your left ovary since you mentioned left side).
Round ligament pains (when your ligaments stretch in order to make room for your growing uterus) during pregnancy usually start in the second trimester and you feel them in your lower abdomen.
Perhaps you should give your a gyno a call and see what he/she says.
