Go for it. With Matt Leinart out, Kurt Warner is the full time starter. Plus, with all 3 of the starting running backs back at Oakland, Lamont Jordan won't get as many carries. And he has back problems, so he will get even less carries. Go for the trade.

I reluctantly took LaMont Jordan as my 3rd RB in the 6th round of our draft this year (12 teams). I was pleasantly surprised for the first few weeks, as Jordan had become one of the top RBs in the NFL. Then came the injury. And now, on comes Dominic Rhodes and Justin Fargas.
My point is that Jordan definitely downgraded in value and his future is uncertain, as far as how Oakland will use him. The paper said Jordan will likely play this weekend. But, I can't see him going in for more than a handful of plays - most likely as a blocking decoy on pass plays - if at all.
Mike Fabiano, fantasy guru at nfl.com, says one of the keys to trading in Fantasy Football is to trade someone of high value right before their value drops. This is the case with Jordan. He certainly won't get any points over the next two weeks (injury week then bye). And, Warner has been handed the keys to the Arizona offense.
Jordan may have his days every now and then with Oakland this season. But, now is the time to trade him and get value in exchange for uncertainty.

Absolutely. LaMont Jordan has back problems, and Rhodes is back and healthy. I assume Rhodes is most likely going back as a starter despite Jordan's efforts. To be honest, it's the Raider line that gave Jordan such great looks.
Kurt Warner looks like...Kurt Warner 10 years ago. For how long, we don't know, but his starting job is not in jeopardy at all, and he's got some awesome weapons available to him for a potentially high-powered passing offense. Do it! Now!

Just keep in mind that alot of people in fantasy drafts a few years back jumped all over Warner and did not get the results expected out of him, It is always better to have many RB's to choose from then to only have a few options. Warner did not do it when he had the job, what makes you think he can do it now, you can never have enough Running Backs..Good Luck

Do the commerce, and that i will tell ya why.......Lamont Jordan is a stud RB(be it the Raiders look tremendously undesirable now) yet they have a tremendously delicate time table from right here on out exceedingly against undesirable run defenses which will bypass an prolonged way on your playoff run in direction of the top of the year.

I would say go for it, unless there is a potential of two of your rbs having the same bye weeks.

I dunno man, do you think Warner is really much of an upgrade on Young? I would wait to see how he does first.
