No, no, NO! CLR is very acidic--it can even dissolve metal. You will destroy the paint on your car. If you have hard water stain problems, here are two safe ideas:

1. Vinegar. Make a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water, about a quart total. Sponge this onto the stains, then rinse off.

2. Use a water softener product, such as Calgon, or Borax. Mix about 1/3-1/2 cup into a gallon of water. Again, sponge on and rinse off.

Idea #2 will be easier, but will cost more money. #1 will be less expensive, but may require a bit of elbow grease, and/or a repeat application, depending on how bad the stains are.

I sure wouldn't. It would most likely damage the paint. I'd rewash the car and use a good car polish.

if u have wax on ur car or a special paint finish no...but a standard pain finish wit no wax yes try in a small spot first!

Sure, it will also strip the wax and possibly paint. Advise compounding then waxing instead. GGR
