Some people already are dealing with this problem. Men do not have automatically higher sex drive than women do. You are at your sexual prime at 17, women hit this at 35... So, harmony will only be achieved with genders helping each other out...

I don't think we'd be that well off.
The way nature works, is that those who invest the least pursue those who invest the most.
Men have a low investment in reproduction. They have sex, that's the end for them. Women have to go through pregnancy, childbirth, and childrearing. Now, I know we have a more complex system than that, but that's where it's basically coming from.
Men are designed to just try and get their genes anywhere and everywhere they can, while women are designed to select.
I read in some psychology book that all the great things men have done can ultimately be traced back by trying to be an attractive mate, i.e get laid.
However, those are disgusting generalizations and there are plenty of sex-fiend women and men who don't want that much.
You can't really talk about what 50% of Homo Sapiens prefers. Even though I just did.
Yay for hypocrisy then!

Survivability. Not of the entire species mind just the specific genes. Before the institution of marriage (even the concept of formal relationships) male species had the dilemma of having to carry on their genes and continuing their line. This was important in tribal societies as virility and creating an heir were essential in upholding a society. However, the problem lies in the gender set-up since men do not give birth they are constantly unsure whether they would be able to carry on the line at all. Considering they are not the only ones with the said agenda (other males might steal their mate). Add to that the higher levels of danger they had to face in daily life that can take away a promising heir in the blink of an eye. The only solution was quantity, impregnating as many females as he can or a single female as many times as possible to ensure that at least one would grow to adulthood and continue his line. Woman have a slightly different take. Since they give birth they are assured that their genes will be carried on no matter what happens . However, in the pregnancy months they are vulnerable and thus need protection from the men. Through the millenia though the circumstances are vastly different this behavior has been passed down and has engraved itself into the subconscious.

There already men with lower sex drives than women and women with higher sex drives than men. I highly doubt much would change and in all honesty unless all proof of men having higher sex drives was erased, even from our memories, women would still call the horn dogs.

Men often do have lower sex drives than women when both reach their late 30s and early 40s.
Just wait. Your world will change...

Some men do have lower sex drives than some women.. It makes no sense to generalize about all men and all women.

Idk, Iam surprised that so many say the bf cant keep up. You eithier need to get in shape, or Italians have an unusual high sex drive.
Send your bf under the sun. Uv radiation can double the testosterone levels. Thats the reason you have your spanish Latin lover or the like in sunny places, at least it used to be that way, before consoles paytv and the like soliticizing less exposure to the sun.

you clearly haven't been around much.
men are more enthusiastic about one-night-stands and similar low-cost low-return adventures. but inside a relationship (even a relatively temporary one) the difference in appetite between the sexes is minimal.
you may be confused because women don't want to have sex with you as a rule. or at least, not again.

People are individuals.
As I said in another post, my ex wanted at least two orgasms a day.
I couldn't manage that.
Don't assume that all men are sex maniacs

I would be happy having sex every day, sometimes twice. Unfortunately, when men get older, they just can’t keep up with us women.
