Yes sir, I do. We all have valid opinions, whether right or wrong. And my grandmother had a saying....Opinions are like a55holes, everyone has one, and everyone thinks everyone elses stinks.

Not really I actually enjoy listening to someone who is making an @ss of themselves as if their opinion is the only opinion or right!

I let people make themselves look like idiots especially when they try to tell me something I already know or know better than they do.

Lively, intelligent, passionate discourse is one thing. But if someone adapts a "my way or the highway" mentality about something, be it politics, sexuality, whatever, then it's out of the pool for me, boys and girls. I don't have time for blowhards, hypocrites and showboaters. I see enough of them on the six o'clock news, usually associated with the White House.

actually... I have no problem with passionate opinions... the people that aggravate me are the ones who don't even realize it's an "opinion"... and haven't the balls to admit when they're wrong... like the religious fundies when you provide proof that their book is fallible...

Yes, especially when they're ranting about something that isn't fact- based. They're usually spouting ignorance and refuse to see the truth for what it is.

You mean when they try to infer that their opinions are fact when they just aren't?

Yes.

it's most annoying when they make these wild claims and then can't back it up with any concrete evidence or sources.

Well, sometimes, yes. But I can't really blame them for being so passionate about their opinions. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.

And then again, sometimes, I fight fire with fire. lol! ;)
