I fully agree with you. Australians are known for their arrogance and sledging for a long time and the repeated success has gone into their head.

No I do not! They are great players and at the moment they really are the dominant team. I have lived through the era when we (Aussies) were the easy beats of the world, but we never called anyone rude or racist or snobs. We just set about planning for the future, developing cricket academies and identifying young talent. We invested in the future of cricket in the best country in the world and it is now paying dividends. Our cricketers play hard, and yes, they sledge (I think indians call it "chirping" but I'm not sure). All cricketing nations sledge, we just happen to be very very good at it. As far as I know we do not attack opposition players over race. We will try to 'think' the opposition out and make them wonder about their own abilities but thats about it. The indians (and other countries) give it back - we are just better at it. The Aussie fans will also have a go e.g. calling out "No ball" every time Murili bowls; but I have attended a lot of test matches and ODI's in Australia and I have never seen anything as disgraceful as the indian crowd making ape like noises to Symonds. That was as low as you can go and brought no credit to india at all. It will help Australia to remain focussed on winning the futures cup and the return matches in Australia. I really think it is the other teams looking up to Australia, rather than us looking down on other teams. I also believe they have every right to be proud of themselves - if you do not believe you are the best in the world you never will be.
Good post Evil P, but I believe you are wrong.

I don't think so.The Indian cricketers were asking for all this when they opened their fat mouths. They should've focussed more on cricket than silly verbal battles. The Australians might be cocky, but they've got the guts and the talent to back their words. The Indian team is a bunch of all talk-no action losers. They need to get their attitude right first.
And I am not an Australian.I am an Indian.

So the Aussies are rude on the cricket field?
Why is this forum just confined to Indian, Pakistani & Sri Lankan & Bangladeshi fans criticizing Australian cricketers?
If our friend, Gilchrist, comes in here & gives a bit back all these fans then scream that he is a racist & a foul evil person.
Look in you own backyard, pal!

No. They are all grown men playing a international sport and Aust r just good at sledging and if teams cant handle it, Go back 2 the pavilion, the way i see it is that other teams take 2 far because they cant handle the pressure of being humiliated and being sledged at he same time

Thats ure opinion, there will always be ppl like you that say they are good players etc...but in reality you just have to have a snipe at the team. Why? cos they are and will always be the best cricket team...so get over it, and be nice. Its cricket...not a personality contest.

We are the most multi-cultural nation on earth. We are not snobs. Why dont you go and make some monkey noises again at a dark person or invite some untouchables around for dinner?
