My laptop has had a motherboard failure and now its internal speakers and the 3.5mm headphone socket also doesn't work.
I'm sure its not a driver problem as I have all of them installed, and anyway in BIOS tests there was no sound either.

How else can I get sound from my computer? Other ports I have that work are USB, 1394 (whatever that is).
HELP!

U can get USB audio devices like Skype handsets, try something like that, or a plain USB SOUND CARD unit. Then make sure to yset it as default audio device in Windows
