He did not discover global warming. The planet would warm naturally with or without his all of a sudden awareness about it.

Well if this person is such a great guy then why doesn't he run for President then? But "no" he doesn't want to?? I figured he would have been all over the chance to run.

First off: Al Gore never claimed to have invented the internet. That is completely out of context of what he actually said, so get your facts straight (what he did say was that he pushed for a great amount of federal funding for the internet's structure development, which he did).
Secondly: The big deal is that he won the Nobel Peace prize. It wasn't for discovering global warming. It was because the committee that decides the recipients felt that he, of anyone in the nominations, was the one who did the most for making the greatest amount of people aware of a situation that would help the world. So please, don't regurgitate what you've heard other people say, and start thinking on your own. ANYONE who receives something as great as the Nobel Prize shouldn't be criticized at least for one day. Show some respect!

THANK YOU!!! They're oogling over him because they're the type that jump on any politically correct bandwagon to be a part of the "IN" crowd. In reality, they're just as nuts as he is.
Have you heard that people are enticing him to run for President? Can you imagine??? What a joke. Even former President Carter is urging him to do so.
Isn't it a riot that he's spouting "Climate Change" (a fancy way of saying global warming) but he has his huge house, 10000 square feet, light bill at least $1000 a month, DOES NOT fly commercial as he has spouted and his kids all have V8 SUV's.

I was actually rather flabergasted that he won. I mean it took Jimmy Carter over 20 years of devoting his life to the poor and war torn. It took Nelson Mandela 20 years in a jail cell and another 10 years in Apartied reform. Al Gore made a stinking movie and gets it his first try. There's something wrong with that.
