Go Cougs! Personally, I loved living in Pullman. It was fun living in a town where most of the people are your age and experiencing the same things that you are. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the winters because of all of the snow and how incredibly cold it can get. But Pullman in the spring and summer is beautiful and the campus is also very pretty that time of year. I also loved living in a town that has so much pride for it's school and knowing that your closest friends are just minutes away! As an "adult" seeing your friends gets harder and harder. Oh and also, there is Ferdinand's with the best cheese and ice cream ever. If you can get a job there, you definitely should. I worked there while I was in school and it was one of the best times of my life!

first I have lived in the area my whole life and never witness a dust storm, so you really don't have to worry about that, there is a good chance that is just kennewick

pros- your in the middle of nowhere, so no terrorist attacks. Its a small town with lots of parties because you live right by WSU and one of those Idaho colleges. It is a pretty nice town. It is great if you like to do outdoor things like fish and hike.

Con-the nearest place to shop for basic things is Spokane... and there is a reason people call it spocompton. It is also right next to Idaho... which is kinda a con.

It does get hot in the summer, but its not to horriblemaybe upper ninties, occasionaly 100. And it does get cold in the winter, but its nothing like midwest.

Honestly, I have always heard great things about Pullman but when I visited there recently, I was shocked to see a small largely rural town with little to do and a long distance to the nearest population center. The public transportation is also very limited.

Spokane is about 90 minutes drive from Pullman; Moscow, ID (University of Idaho) is just across the state line.

Pros: College Town, hot summers,

Cons: The college is WSU, ridiculously cold winters, not much around, aside from the University, far from Seattle,

Get a mask for those nasty dirt storms! When I was a kid I lived in Kennewick and the dirt storms were HORRIBLE. One Saturday we spent all day cleaning the house and the sun was out. My parents decided that we were going to go out to dinner and we left the windows open slightly for a cross-breeze. While eating a HUGE dirt storm kicked up. By the time we got home there was in inch of dirt on everything inside the house....GROSS.
