I just saw this movie last night, and the two lead female characters were ridiculous. Do you think the film makers were being facetious, or is that really how most women act (i.e. hysterical and illogical)? How could you not identify with the men in this movie?

Obviously the entire movie was satiric in nature., but yes, women are crazy - myself included. I once threatened to leave my husband because he bought me a present, that in my hormone induced hysteria, I considered too expensive. It was ridiculous, but it happens. The sad thing is that we ( women) all see the injustice in other relationships, but rarely can we pinpoint it in our own.

I thought it was a comedy so I didn't take it very seriously but yeah the female characters were hysterical & illogical but I think that is how most men see us as women & are going to try to get a laugh out of it whenever they can.

perhaps, but when my best friend was pregnant she did many of those things.. In the middle of a blizzard she got pissed off and argumentative because her boyfriend wouldn't walk 10 miles to the store to get her ice cream.. (or some other rather stupid thing) This is not made up, he had no license so could not drive and they lived in the middle of nowhere. I don't know how he stayed with her during the pregnancy because she literally treated him like cr*p.. The movie may be a exaggerated a little, but not that much.. (some women DO get like that when pregnant.. ) and although the sister was annoying.. I've met people similar to her as well..

I don't think you are supposed to identify with the characters or take them seriously. It was a comedy. Just laugh and enjoy.

Yeah, It could have been a better movie.

It wasn't for kids, I know that much! My boyfriends ex let thier young son watch it. It really makes me mad that he is seeing that stuff. He will be doing things at a YOUNG age because of it!

Yeah like taking the guy with you to interview dozens of Ob's? I don't even think I would interview them. You usually just end up with one.

that movie was super funny, but when women get "knocked up". thats how it would, maybe not the whole getting married thing but the begining part.
