Question Details: well my math teacher assigned us a project and since we are in geometry she wants a model of my house...so wee need to convert them...my question is do we converth them to feet into cm??

YOu measure a house by feet and inches, so you wold say it is (for example) 20.5 feet wide and 17 foot 4 inches tall.

I think what you're looking for is a scale model of your house. Establish a scale so you can draw it on paper. It could be 1" = 4 feet or so, or you could let 1 cm = 1 m, or 1 cm = 1 foot.
To convert between English and metric, if that's what you need to do, I know 1 inch = 2.54 cm, and that's exact. From there, I'll convert back to feet or meters if I need to.

You may want to convert it into meters... It might be a little easier, because if you convert it into centimeters, you're going to get some HUGE numbers..

if you've already converted into cm, just divide by a hundred :)

It depends how big your house is. Though Ft. to Cm. is probably good. I don't quite understand the question though.

2.54 cm = 1 in
so that is 2.54 * 12 in = 30.48 cm which is 1 foot! so muplity the feet by 30.48 cm
