When they go on and on and on about something and when they've finished telling you they start all over again at the beginning. I have met some people like that, but they are usually worst when they are drunk.
I'm not generally boring, well maybe sometimes. Some of my friends are right Luddites so if I say "I found something interesting on the internet..." they say they don't want to know and back away from me as if "the internet" is something scary and there couldn't possibly be anything interesting on it. I am trying to re-educate them but it is an uphill struggle. So I guess they think I am boring when I insist on telling them.

when they think they r righteously superior to others and they would never stoop to our level *roles eyes......whatever*
when they r afraid of other people and don't have fun in social settings *give em' a few drinks and the fun relaxed person comes out*
when all they do is read and study and be serious *kidnap them from school or work and force them to be irresponsible and let go of the controls for once

Self obsession, not being able to laugh at themselves, having no sense of humour at all ,contributes a fair bit to being seen as boring.Am i seen as boring to one i would see as boring?not certain but suspect that would be so.

I think the general rule of thumb, is if they don't show any consideration to you. If they go off on one about what interests them and don't care about anyone else.
I could even listen to someone bang on about Anne McCaffrey's books on Dragons, which are as interesting to me as paint drying, but if the person engaged me and asked my opinion and explored their fascination, then I wouldn't fall asleep.

you know those people when they are asked a question in a public place/ meeting/ classroom and they are not responding, not a yes or not even a no? well, i hate that. you are asked an opinion just bloody answer it, some people just are so stuck up. shyness is a poor excuse, i call it boring/passive.

People who talk about their washing, ironing and the weather.
People who talk about themselves all the time.
People who can't take a joke.
People who answer with monosyllabic words.
Stupid people.
Girls who only talk about hair, make-up and clothes.
