knight of st.john of jerusalem?

If a man bearing title of Knight of St.John is deceased,,,is that his title is transfered to his oldest children or the title is not transmissible ?

I'm not sure but I think you have to be enrolled in the knighthood and its only if the deceased sons or daughter enroll themselves, then they carry the title of knights of Saint John.

No - it is not a hereditary title.
