Hi, I'm international student & freshman at community college in CT. Next fall, I want to transfer to 4 year university. I saw RIT has a lot of scholarship for transfer student & international student.

Currently, I'm majoring business finance.
I know RIT is famous for computer enginnering & digital art major, but how about its business school (esp. finance major)?

How's the campus life in RIT esp for international student? (I came from Indonesia)
Is it hard to transfer to RIT? What is the minimun GPA?

My TOEFL CBT score is 253, my SAT I score is 1730/2400 (CR 500, MATH 670, WRTG 560). What are my chances?

THX A LOT!!

What I meant by RIT is Rochester Institute of Technology.
I've just started my first semester, so I don't have my GPA yet. But until now, my grades range are A/B+. I attended High School in Indonesia, which doesn't have GPA system.

First a tip: When you ask questions like this, don't use initials. I'm not sure what school you are talking about. I assume that it is Rochester Institute of Technology -- but don't really know.

The school is a decent regional university -- but there are a lot that are better. They have a business program, but it is not ranked. Your SATs are good enough to get in -- but they look at other things as well. You don't tell us your GPA -- but since you are concerned about the minimum, I suspect it is not high. Schools do not post minimum GPAs. US News lists this as a "More Selective" college -- so they do have some standards. About 85% of those accepted as Freshmen were in the top half of their HS classes. Only 30% were in the top 10%. They accept about 2/3 of those who apply.

If your grades at your community college are decent, you have a good chance. On the other hand, if they are decent, you can also do better.

I've included a link to undergraduate business program rankings.

Education is education, just because those schools are prefixed with a "A" meaning American, does not make them superior to others. Dubai is the perfect hub for business.
