And the follow-up question, will your diet come into question? (ie, did or did you not eat pork???)

People do ugly things because irrationality, brutality, cruelty and being led around by our emotions are a part of the human condition, albeit a part that _civilized_ people keep under control.
The fact that some people still do ugly things is pretty much proof that the threat of hell and the bribe of heaven just aren't enough for some people. If you believe in a creator then it would sure seem like he bears some responsibility for creating these people like he did. Me, I do not believe in gods or afterlifes. I'm a good person simply for the sake of being good. Is there really any more reason needed? I think emotionally mature people shouldn't need bribes or threats to be good, but maybe I'm just too optimistic about humans.

Sociopaths and psychopaths, persons who do what you call 'ugly things', do not think of consequences. Since they aren't blessed (cursed?) with a conscience, they have no reason to fear being judged in the hereafter. If they commit a criminal act, they may be judged in a court of law, and pay a penalty accordingly, but they defend their actions with denial.
The creator isn't a concept they consider, therefore why should they fear the judgement of such a being or entity or god. Their main interest in life is themselves and the damage they can do to others. Judgement beyond death doesn't exist, therefore they readily accept their own eventual death as a given. No afterlife, no karma, no regrets.
Terrifying, isn't it ...

Your answer seems to indicate a tendeancy to focus on the beleif your way is the only way. That is a commom trait. I think my way is the only right way. There are those who do deeds that one might see as ugly but they feel that they are serving thier idea of a creator. Example: the terror attacks on 9/11 I see them as Barbaric and against my creators teaching. Yet they felt they were serving their creator. At the same time they see my having a dog and eating pork as ugly and barbaric. Then their are those who do not belive in a creator and to them it is immigination

They believe differently. Some believe we are just specks of dust in the entire universe, here today, gone tomorrow. They don't know what to believe or even if they believe in themselves or their own origins. I simply accept that smarter folks than me throughout the ages have pondered it all and discovered less than I have. And so it goes and I continue.

People, all people do things that are stupid and sins, then they don't realize or in fact there are millions even in the US that have not heard about the second coming. It's going to happen. Oh ya and when it does I won't be posting answers anymore unless the other side has internet...

Yes, for sure!!! I believe it with all of my heart!
God is coming soon, and we need to be be prepared. People still do bad things because they choose to reject God and refuse to believe that there actually is a judgment day Or because they simply don't know about God's free gift of salvation to anyone who asks.
