Two weeks ago my brother’s teacher mrs. Armstrong told the students to not tell someone to shut up because that is informing that there mouth is stink and to tell someone who is talking too much to be quiet or cut down on the talking. So they had a boy who was speaking too much. Our teacher ms. Armstrong told him to shut up and the boy asked if she told him that to keep quiet or his breath was stink and she replied to him in front of the class that both applied in that case. Is my brother’s teacher being funny or mean?

I believe she told him that to humiliate him into following her rules. I really can't blame her. Teachers have it rough, especially when the kids make it harder on them.

Amen to that,
I teach too and when kids are like that i want to keep them guessing so they think a little.
I guess there was humor in it a little but then again maybe it was sarcastic lol
who knows think about it and i'm sure you'd shut up hahaha
tell your brother to take it in stride he'll have lots more years in school... and ask him to follow school rules or classroom rules.
- imagine if there were 20 kids in the class and one boy makes ruckus and disrupts it for 10 minutes it is more unfair to the 19 students who wanted to learn ... right^^

Which grade was this? If it was an elementary class, then it was not funny. If it was a 12 grade Trigonometry or Physics class, then it was very funny!
