Gore? Come on. He’s a windbag that puts off more pollution in a month than the average person does in 6 months. His overhyped propaganda piece is pure garbage, and personally don’t think that the Nobel prize is anything more than a group that jumps on the flavor of the month bandwagon….
Anyone else see this is a political move instead of a reward for actually accomplishing something good for humanity?

The noble prizes in the sciences and medicine mean something.

The noble prize for peace is a joke.

any prize that Yasser Arafat can win but Ghandi cannot is a joke.

We all are entitled to our own opinions and biases. If you don't think the committee is credible, then don't. Being commended for such a prize is not much when we're 6 feet under the ground already. Who really cares?

I was entirely disillusioned by the nobel peace prize when they gave it to Jimmy Carter years ago... and then Arafat... [rolling my eyes] pu-leeze. it's just more ivory tower intellectuals patting someone on the back for furthering their views rather than developing an understanding for the real world
