Subwoof: LOL...if you didn't want to answer this question, you didn't have to! I asked it because I'm interested in hearing what men and women have to say! Besides, it doesn't hurt to break up the monotony in here once in awhile. The same old questions all the time get rather boring, don't you think?

The Nobel Peace Prize has long been a joke. The ManBearPig episode of South Park gave Algore the scorn he deserves.

I just asked this question in Politics, you should have done the same... I am not a huge fan of his, but it is very impressive to be the only person in history to win the Noble Prize, the Academy Award, and the US presidential elections!

Yes,he deserves it.I didn't see him get noticed like he should and the majority wanting him as president when he was battling against Bush.So he should do something very awesome and different and get noticed just like winning the Nobel prize.Good job Gore.Keep making your team happy. :)

I'm happy for him as well, and I can think of no better person to win it this year. Of course, Sean Hannity won't be pleased, but who cares what HE thinks?

I wish this question was posted else where. What does this have to do with G & WS? Top Contributors should be an example to others using Yahoo Answers. But this is only what I think. People think differently. Thanks.

EDIT
I forgot to answer:
Congratulations to Al Gore. I am also thankful for his contributions to the internet what ever it is.

Be careful Tera. Being happy for a man could get you in trouble here.

I am glad that someone who addresses environmental issues such as global warming is finally being recognized.
As a feminist I ascribe to the Ecological systems theory that sees the direct correlation between humans and their physical environment.

I'm glad he did. I really enjoy Inconvenient Truth and I think that environmental issues really need to take more priority in our government. He deserves that award for making people more aware of what's going on.

Me too. It's exciting.

Sigh. Just think, we could have had a Nobel Peace Prize recipient for president, but instead we're stuck with ... an idiot - for *two terms*.
