You can't just name a baby Nick or Sam it would have to be Nicolas or Samuel or in my opinion. Simon is a fine name but i keep thinking about that game Simon says, or the judge simon on american idol, also the boy on 7th heaven is named simon so i can only think of that when i hear that name and for some reason it makes me think of satan lol i know its a bible name. My favorite would be Samuel/Sam which is also my big bro's name :-)

I like Simon the best. It's unusual, but still traditional enough that people will now how to say and spell it.

Nick is a fine nickname for Nicholas, and one of my dear friends is named Nicholas, so I have a soft spot for it. However, it's pretty common. Not a bad thing, though.

Sam is also perfectly fine, as long as it's a nickname for Samuel. I don't like the sound of the name, so I personally wouldn't use it. It's not a bad name at all, though.

I love Simon. Nick and Sam I think are two common names and my preference are different and unique names. You don't hear a lot of Simons. Love it.

I like Simon. You don't hear it being used as much. I have even thought about using that for my #3 on the way. I don't know what it is yet. The other two are good as well, but more commonly used.
