I keep getting a warning that says I need to set my monitor to 1680x1050, however this is not an option the closest I can get is 1600x1200 and it makes everything distorted and wide. Do any of you know how to fix this?
If it helps I have a Nvidia G force 7350 le graphics card

Sounds like it could be one of three issues:

1) If the "distortion" is simply a stretched screen, then by changing the vertical and horizontal stretch controls on you monitor (those physical menu buttons and up/down select buttons on the face, side, or back of your monitor casing.) you should be able to "unstretch" your screen.

2) If the distortion is more than just a stretched screen--such as strange color distortion, then you may need to reset the the refresh rate of the monitor.

--Open up Display Properties and select the rightmost tab "Settings".
--Click on the "Advanced" button at bottom right.
--Select the "Monitor" tab.
--Making sure that the "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display" is checked, try a different refresh rate and see if the distortion clears. Your options will be things like "60 Hertz," "72 Hertz," etc.

3) If none of the allowed refresh rates help, then suspect your graphics card and/or monitor driver. You can do this by selecting the "Adapter" and "Monitor" tabs respectively while still in the Advanced display menu and clicking on the "Properties" button. Make sure the drivers are correct for your hardware and that the device appears to be working correctly.

GO to the Nvidia.com web site and get the latest version of the drivers for your card. They should give you support for 1680 by 1050.
