Last month I spotted everyday on the pill, my Dr. said it was normal, and to keep using the pill for a couple months, if it continues then I can switch my pill if I choose too, well this month it has been fine, no spotting, no cramping, until this morning I woke up with my period, not just spotting... I still have a week and a half before I start the sugar pill, is this normal??

The birth control pill takes time to regulate to your body. i just started mine a couple months ago and i spotted everyday the first month but now i'm fine. if you are to worried about it call your doctor or your local health department. ask your mom, i'm sure she would know. I'm sure everything is okay. i think your body is just getting normal to the pill. well, goodluck and have a nice day!!! : )

this is not abnormal if you only recently started taking the pill, you really do need to give it a few months before you start freaking out, changing pills, stopping them... or whatever. are you taking them at about the same time every day or are you taking ANY OF THEM late? that could be a factor also. wait the 3-4 months and then switch pills if it continues. nobody has any patience anymore

Yes this is normal. By using the pill it offsets your hormones which causes your period to change. It happened to me as well then it got to the point where i had no period at all. But my doctor said that it was normal. Take a look at this website it should be very helpful http://www.healthywomen.org/healthtopics/birthcontrolpills.
