We process the information as a continuous function of sorts not in discrete packets like a digital camera. That's like asking how many Mega-pixels an old analog camera had...

If you were to compare it to a single lens reflex camera, our eye would be between 50 and 55 millimeters. That's why a 35mm camera shot always seems small compared to what we saw in the first place. Not quite sure about megapixels, though.

a complicated answer, as our brain analyses vectors and not picture elements, and our eyes are usually 3 dimensional by nature. It also depends on the state of our brain and the processed image.

In a peak situation I would say that our eyes would exceed the best of digital cameras. When we are tired, or when a picture is bland, we tend to be lazy and receive far less.

impossible to say accurately...but think if your eyesight is good the image you see is crystal clear...your eye is the standard by which you judge the quality of a camera image of any image for that matter

our eyes have an infinite number of "mega-pixels" Our eyes aren't digital, which is why a digital camera could never match what our eyes capture.

I saw a pixil one time when I was drunk ,but it was not in my eye,,it was on the bar stool next to mine. How did you know it's name was Mega ??
