The Seven Deadly Sins never occur as a formal list in the Bible. Some people say they can all be found in Matthew's Gospel (chapters 5 through 7), but they are not in a simple list there. Others submit Proverbs 6:16-19, but this is a different list, covering pride, lies, murder, evil plans, swiftness in sin, lies again, causing conflict. Clearly not the same.
Lust
Anger
Pride
Sloth
Envy
Gluttony
Greed

All are mentioned separately in the Bible but the list of seven was put together by the Roman Catholic church and are sometimes attributed to Pope Gregory the Great though other scholars say it goes back further in that church.

One of the popes. Then Dante wrote the Divine comedy which outlined the circles of hell. Contemporary media such as the movie Se7en which starred Brad Pitt made it "popular" again, and E! regularly does these deadly sin segments - mostly relating to fashion or glamour though.

The catholic church came up with them. There are sins listed in the bible but they are not listed as deadly sins and not like these.

the 7 deadly sins aren't in the bible specifically as sins; there are 7 things that are sinful in one book but only one is clearly related. not sure who invented them, but Pope Gregory the Great and Dante Alighieri used them in their teachings/etc

Go with"Frank...". They're all IN the Bible, but not listed as such. The Catholic Church came up with that one.
