Were most Italian and German WW2 POWs in UK camps repatriated shortly after WW2? Were there still POWs here in the UK in 1951?

.By the Geneva Convention.Once hostilities cease POWs are repatriated to thier own country.Even prisoners who chose to remain in the UK signed documents of thier release
