I was reading something on a fansite that said Triple H and Steph disapprove of Tough Enough coming back. Now,if that's true, why does HHH have a say in it?Why should he have a say in it?I realize that Stephanie should have a say,but if HHH has a say in it,shouldn't all the wrestlers be able to help make decisions within the company?I know he is married to Steph, and I was just wondering does he have any say in the writing of the shows?

Here is the article I read:
There is some talk within WWE to bring back Tough Enough, in some form. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are against the idea as they feel that it exposes the business. Kevin Dunn, among other top people in the company are strongly in favor of the idea. Vince McMahon is actually the one who brought the idea back up as he feels WWE needs to put some reality TV into all three of the brands.

I wish somebody could get the WWE to stop the insanity by returning to actual wrestling matches instead of the embarassingly insipid fairy tale storylines that are increasingly thrust upon the fans week after week !!!!! Who cares who Vince's illegitimate son is ???? Who cares who is going to marry who ????? Who cares if Vince was really blown up but will mysteriously reappear next week ???? What a Joke Vince has turned the WWE into !!!!! Whatever happened to the great wrestling matches between Andre the Giant & Hulk Hogan ??? Today...the WWE has become a soap opera with MORE RIDICULOUS STORYLINES THAN ACTUAL WRESTLING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ---I seriously doubt that anyone is writing these storylines because, based upon their silliness, I think that the people who concocted this nonsense probably had to dictate the stories because they were unable to read or write.....

It sure helps to be in good terms with the head of the creative dpt when you want to suggest an idea. So i'd believe that Triple H has an indirect decisional power in the wwe.
About Tough Enough, one of the main reasons to run a new season is probably a will to expand the (ECW) roster with new talent and star power. After season #1 Maven was sent on Raw but he did not look credible. On ECW the Miz and others can compete in the lower card at least as they have a crowd.
The key i believe, is to change Tough Enough into a kind of contest. During one night the contenders could use the microphone, and during another they are just put one against another in a particular kind of match, in groups of two, three or four, and the fans vote for the best performance.
Thus the wwe does not have to expose its secrets (like wrestling techniques etc), and training happens behind closed doors. On the other hand, we get a live show instead of segments like "oooh it hurts boo hoo hoo", and to further expand the tv ratings hire judges like bret hart, Linda McMahon, nic hogan, david flair, raven, jesse ventura, and an ordinary guy not related to wrestling (typical fan). The judges would have the power to immunise a group of contenders during each episode.

O C'mon, how can u ignore dat The Mcmahon's r So exciting. that's the project with d ingenious group dat Why do the fan chant for a HEEL? It potential dat they are actually unable to becoming a goo Heel and a powerful Face. Th in basic terms Superstars Which r keeping th organization at the instant are Shawn Michael, The Undertaker, Jeff Hardy and a few extra adult males. Bruce Prichard became fired and there and then the ingenious group DIED. And now what! Prichard has signed with TNA and he' gonna make it extra ideal. I agree dat The Mcmahon' hav decreased there image and r till at last considered by potential of followers like HEELS as a results of fact of their involvement in DX tale-lines.......

This really isn't even a question of storylines. THis is a WWE business decision, to which HHH probably gets a vote since he's part of the ruling family.

he does have some input. He is in a lot of the meetings where the storylines are derived. So are some other but only on parts that their character take part in.
