My bathtube and toilet sits next together. Everytime the water in the bathtube stucks and drains down very slow, the water from the toilet comes out on the floor. About 10 minutes later, the water from bathtube drains down freely, and water from the toilet stop rising.
What should I do? Please give me advise to save money for fixing this problem. Thanks a lot

You have a clogged main drain and a bad wax ring on the bottom of the commode, get the drain unclogged and replace the wax ring on the bottom of the commode and you should be good to go, best of luck

The cheapest would be to buy a 25' hand snake. The blockage is below the joint between the toilet and tub so snaking the toilet should do it. Depending on you system it may clear the blockage up, it could just push it further down the pipe or you may not reach the blockage(how far to the next joint(other toilet, shower or sink) If it tree roots between the house and the street the snake won't help and you will need an auger and a professional plumber.

Sounds like it wasn't vented properly, but I'd need more details to make a final conclusion. Age of home? Age of bathroom? Is it simply that you have a clog in your tub, which is easily fixed with an auger?

Try a plunger in the toilet. If it stays clogged, you will need a plumber. Could be a simple clog in the line or your entire septic system could be backed up.
