I have a stack of stuff from previous relationships. It's not that I hold on to them for sentimental reasons- it's to remind me that people can say whatever they want, it's what they do that counts.
Basically, they are reminders of important lessons learned. I don't get all mushy over them (because I am over the person who wrote them) and I don't spend a lot of time reading them, either.

I really did not want to say this but he probably has it justr to remember most men do this becuase they fear they are going to forget. Do what i do I ignore it I mean it is hard to see it but they are his memories he is with you for a reason he loves you know and he is your husband know. Being married for 12 years is a long time and he is never going to foget her. they must have had good times but it was not ment to be. Just ignore it he will get rid of it eventually.

Nope, all are thrown out! Now, IF for some reason we get divorced, I would keep things like that for my kids to have. But it wouldn't be love mushy ones...

I keep mine. I don't necessarily ever read them and I'm not sure why I keep them, I guess it signifies a past relationship with someone who was once important to me...like a picture.
