I'm learning Mandarin at the moment. My third language after English and German.

I guess speaking Mandarin offers a lot of business opportunities (with a booming Chinese economy and all), and it's something that people least expect me to speak.

French. I can speak a little French but would like to speak it fluently. I think French is a nice sounding language and is quite widely spoken.

Spanish to start and then French. I think Spanish would be great to learn, especially in the US. Then I think French would be the second most useful. I heard Spanish is fairly easy to learn to. I would want to start with the easiest!

I would choose Spanish. I live in South Florida and it seems like you can't get around without knowing it.

I already speak French and some Spanish, but right now I wish I knew Turkish since I am in Turkey for the school year.

Spanish. I've always had an interest while growing up in a Latino neighborhood. If they had started teaching us young, I'd probably be fluent by now.

I can already speak two languages and a Philippine dialect. If I could a third language, it would be Spanish.

Spanish, because I work with people (via telephone and e-mail) from counties that speak that language. They do speak English, but I would like to converse with them in their own language.
