Depends on the content of the sandwich. Ham and cheese is usally best on toasted/grilled breads. PB&J is best on plain although it's a well known fact that Elvis like his PB&J's grilled/fried.

I like really soft bread for snadwiches , but in the winter I love a grilled cheese sandwich! ♥j

I like soft bread unless it is a breakfast sandwhich. Then grilled. Or grilled cheese.

Actually, it depends on the filling. I like ham, cheese, lettuce and tomato on soft white bread. Salad sandwiches (tuna, chicken) I like grilled.

plain rarely have the grilled although its nice but love the real fresh bread best

I preferred fresh, non-grilled sandwiches in the summer and grilled, hot sandwiches in the winter!

Now I like Grilled Cheese with some Ketchup on a plate and if I don't have any Ketchup then hot Tomato Soup will do! Yum.
