Congratulations Liberal Americans. I mean it.

It's been a tough road for you folks since 2000 and if a bunch of European Elite Leftists want to pat your man on the back then I say GREAT!

Al Gore is a fine american. I and many others just don't buy into his Mass Hysteria on Global Warming.

Also, conservatives just don't feel a burning desire to be accepted by Euro/Canada leftist elite. I am sure they are good people but at the end of the day they support two things many of us on the right find disturbing; Appeasement Abroad and Socialism at home. No thanks!!!!

I imagine if we were on a sinking ship you would refuse to bail until we could agree on where the water was coming from.

History is repeating itself with a vengeance. Just as in 1929, the United States has allowed unrestrained corporatism to destroy their economy to the point where the dollar is plummeting, but this time the rest of the world is not going with us. The same bean counters who are telling us that climate change is not a threat rely on expanding markets to keep their economic system going, but markets cannot expand forever.

The Republican solution seems to be to continue consuming until the bubble bursts. Just as in the 1930s, the Republicans are ignoring the pleas of the rest of the world for the United States to abandon its isolationist policy and address energy pollution problems. The Republicans assured us Hitler was not our problem as well.

The Nobel Prizes are not awarded by a leftist elite: the founder was a successful capitalist, and the foundation is headed by the King of Sweden. Since inception the Nobel Committee has aimed at integrity and impartiality, and the entire world (except for American Republicans and the old Soviet Politburo) respect their judgement.

Of course even my moderate opinion will appear liberal to you. Your mind appears to be closed, and your television set permanently on FOX.

"Also, conservatives just don't feel a burning desire to be accepted by Euro/Canada leftist elite."

Conservatives apparently don't feel a burning desire to equate themselves with reality, either, but that doesn't mean the ocean waves won't be lapping at their red, white and blue-stamped posteriors in 50 years' time.

We're laughing at you Reps for coming up with all these countless excuses.

The point is Al won / is being applauded on a GLOBAL stage. You isolationist, paranoid NeoCons are essentially saying the entire world is wrong, but we're right. LoL...Keep it up Cons...We're laughing all the way to the White House.

The shrieking cries of Allahua Akbar should be a most unwelcome wake-up for the libs, but snapped back to consciousness they shall be.

Right now, conservatives don't feel a buring desire to do anything. I hope they decide to begin fighting back soon.

I don't want socialism. I want to stop the redistribution of wealth from the powerhouse liberal states to the ever draining bible and rest belt states. I say down with conservative tricks in USING our wealth to subsidize your schools, roads, and hospitals!

It's "IMPOSSIBLE" to explain the workings of the fifth grade to a first grader, thus,I fully understand your reluctance to accept the "climate change" challenge, but, perhaps with time, you too will reach the "fifth grade"..
