A long cord isn't safe for any animals - they could get wrapped up in it and die! I don't think bunnies need toys. Despite being super cute, they have very simple minds.

cords r not a toy for bunny get expensive replacing cords keep out of reach. U should keep in cage if not watching it could get in serious trouble. Empty papertowel rolls r fun for them, roll up newspaper into a ball. They love to tear things up. Pet stores would have toys. Bunny's r alot of work & fun. Good Luck

No. Jeez, a cord of any kind is not a safe play toy for any animal. I wouldn't give anything to a bunny to play with that wouldn't be safe for him to eat because that's what he's going to try to do.

Congrats on the new bunny!

I would stay away from the cord. Although I'm positive your bunny would love to chew on it, it does provide a definite strangulation hazard. Here are some items we use with great success:

* Macaroni & Cheese box filled with hay
* Papertowl tubes fileld with hay
* Toilet paper tube filled with hay
* Golf Balls
* Empty Soup Cans
* Old phone books
* Untreated wood
* Twigs
* Laundry detergent caps (cleaned)
* Hard plastic keys (for babies)
* Concrete form (tube types for poles)
* Wooden boxes for climbing
* Slinky
* Hay cubes
* Oats boxes with ends removed

All of those are either something you would throw away or very inexpensive.

Hope this helps!

no. not a good toy. good bunny toys needn't be expensive. they like to hide under things so cardboard boxes with a hole cut in them that they can fit through is good - you could fill it with hay for added digging and eating pleasure. toilet roll / kitchen roll tubes are great - good fun for bunny to throw about or chew on - again, you can fill it with hay or put little treats in the middle that the bunny has to get out. plastic plant pots, small footballs, screwed up bits of paper - lots of things are good - you can buy toys in pet stores too. you can make tubes for them to run in and play with by sticking lots of boxes together with the ends cut off, or again, you can buy them in shops - anything they can basically throw about without hurting themselves, dig in, jump on or hide in, will be appreciated. be careful with plastics as bunny will probably try to chew most things - make sure you provide safe things to chew - you can buy wooden chews in shops or online but you can't beat a nice bit of apple branch - they love it and the leaves!

No, any type of electrical cord is dangerous for any animal to chew on. They could get electricuted. Rabbits like to chew on wood though.;-)

maybe a little box or toilet paper tube; the bunny might ignore it or chew on it or throw it.
