What's that fluid in your car that leaves the cement looking dry when it rains? apparently it 'seals' that part of the cement where it dripped and not allowing water to absorb in that section of the driveway.

Engine oil, and transmission fluid will leave a mark in the cement, but will make water repel from that area.
Any other fluids like antifreeze, power steering fluid, or brake fluid, will not be a moisture deterrant in cement. the properties are too thin and molecular dispersion apon dripping will cause moisture to combine with it easily.

Armorall sprayed around the tires makes pavement look funny too! Any oil will disperse water also.
