this is the one good piece of advice my mom gave me, and she didnt give me much, think of the worst, most vulgar thing that you can think of relating to that name....because whatever you think of, the kids on the playground will think much worse. my daughters are April and Amber and they never got messed with due to their names..I let my husband name our son and he choose Nicholas...so he has been teased with Nick the _ick ...and he's only 9...other kids are cruel...remember that when naming your babies

I pledge allegiance to the flag....
If you really like those names, then do it. Are you planning to have more children? I know that sounds like a silly question, but it would seem a bit odd NOT to carry on the patriotic theme if there are going to be more little freedom fighters on the way; otherwise, introductions may go something like this-->Meet our twins Liberty and Justice, and this is our son........Fred (or whatever strikes your fancy at the time). Little Fred may feel like somewhat of an oddball compared to sweet Liberty and Justice.
IMHO if you're planning for a lot of little ones, I hope you have other patriotic-like names tucked away in your back pocket.
....with Liberty and Justice for all.

Not so much cliche as silly. They would make nice middle names, though, if you wanted a theme.
Choose two first names that are completely different that you love. If I was having twin girls, I would name them Charlotte and Daphne. Then, I would go with more matchy middle names, if I was so inclined. Charlotte Liberty and Daphne Justice. Personally, I'm not, but that's your personal preference. If you're going to use matchy names, at least keep them to the middle names.

Not too cliche......but before you do, imagine speaking to a coworker or neighbor with this name. Think of what it will be like to be 40 with these names.
This is what I did when I named my children. I wanted to be sure that I wasn't choosing something that was cute at age 2, but they would hate when they were grown.
Imagine what kind of person you would visualize with this name. This way you will know what people will think when they see their resume.
Once you think about these things, you will know what to name your children.
Follow your heart and have fun with it.....pick what you know is just right for them!
Hope this helps = )

I'm surprising myself because I like your choice in names. Typically, I don't go for the unusual choices. I'm very patriotic and appreciate my country (faults and all), so I suppose that's why I support your choices. I don't think Justice will have a problem with her name as she ages. If Liberty does, then she can have people call her Libby, instead. What's on the birth certificate doesn't have to the names used in everyday life.

They are cute together, but think of what potential employers would say/think when reading the name on their resume. Justice is more common, but Liberty may not be taken seriously. I would think of a cute nickname or use them as middle names.

I don't think it's too cliche but I don't like those names. How about:
Grace
Charity
Prudence
Joy
Hope
Patience
?
I like the combos:
Grace and Hope
Patience and Joy
Prudence and Charity
Good Luck :)

Yes. Too over the top.
I prefer Liberty over Justice. So I'd find another name to go with it.

Justice is cute, but I don't like Liberty for a name. How about Hope or Faith instead?
