Patriotic is not being afraid to criticize your government when you think it is wrong.
Congrats to Gore, he deserved it.

Conservatives will in no way win that prize because of the fact they have a situation with giving up US soverignty to international concerns. The slightest hint of nationalistic sentiment by using individuals is an computerized disqualification for the award. Carter Gore Wilson 0'bama Yasser Arafat considering the enterprise, i might think of it a greater honor to no longer win the award.

Facts!:
1) Al Gore did not win the prize alone. He has to SHARE it with the U.N. Climate Change PANEL.
2) Patriotism doesn't mean celebrating when a man, ANY MAN, wins a prize unjustly.
3) Al Gore won the prize because of his "documentary", which is chock full of bad science and currently under investigation
4) Liberals have no right to talk about patriotism when they support the smear of a commanding general (BASELESS, FALSE accusations!), during war-time.

I don't think about party before country, especially since I'm not actually a member of any political party. I'm mad because there were so many other people who earned the prize who were pushed out of the way because Al Gore made a few weirdos on the Nobel Committee feel good.

Although I feel the opinion of Norwegians is not completely worthless...
Please excuse me if I don't orgasm when an American wins a Norwegian popularity contest.
You didn't exactly jump for joy when Bush beat Kerry in an American popularity contest, did you?

I think about what is truly good for humanity before what will line my pockets or will advance agendas of a global government and wealth redistribution scheme. I value reality over politically motivated spin. Al Gore is a con artist with bad intentions.
We can all agree that pollution is bad but not for the reasons the alarmists falsely state and not as a means of securing more power for the government against the people.

If Gore did something worthwhile to earn the award I would celebrate. But his movie is crap and his theories are dangerous. He is not good for the USA, nor is he good for the planet. He's a self-serving wack-job.

I think it is more important for the Nobel Peace Prize to go to a humanitarian who is an advocate for peace. I don't understand why you think it is more important that the prize go to an American than to someone who has spent their life promoting peace around the world....

I totally agree. This country that once was united is now separated by political parties.
We look like losers.
